Is Black Limestone Paving Easy To Look After?

These paving slabs will require a little more maintenance than other types of paving. Due to the fact they are a deep black colour and will be spending their lives outside, the sun will affect them during the hotter periods of the year. They will fade to a light grey if left alone.

Ideally, if you want to maintain the dark black colour that is present when the slabs are first installed, you will need to seal the slabs once each spring to protect from the upcoming heat.

Do I Need To Seal Black Limestone Paving?

Yes. The stone is long lasting and hard wearing, but sadly the colour isn't if left untreated.

Anything dark in colour will fade if left exposed to sunlight. Think of sealing your black limestone like applying sun-block. It protects the colour from fading in UV light.

Depending on quantity, orders will arrive in a pallet box. Where they are not full boxes, they will be securely strapped to the box to guarantee no breakages.

Delivery will normally be made on manual forks/pump truck and will only be guaranteed kerbside. However, if your driveway is flat and then the driver may agree to move it to your driveway. However it is not guaranteed.
