Raj Green coping stones give you a rustic & traditional finish to tie in with a natural garden, while protecting your wall at the same time. Top off your wall with these classic, yet functional stones. They will add an element of sophistication and style to your home while providing the protection you need.
The Product: coping stones that are a variety of earthy toned colours, made from sandstone. They are available in 2 edge finishes with drip grooves cut on the underside of the bullnosed copings to help protect the wall underneath from water damage.
The Size: There are 4 sizes of coping available. You can see these in the dropdown. Not every size is available with every edge.
The Edges: There are two edge types available:
- Bullnosed Edges - Rounded edges on the two long sides of the coping. Great for a contemporary finish.
- Hand-dressed Edges - Naturally formed edges that have been split by hand. They are rough to touch and look natural.
The Thickness: These slabs are all calibrated to 30mm thick. This means they are much easier to install whilst keeping level.
Colour Palette for Raj Green: A strong blend of browns & greys, with more subtle shades of dark purple & green appearing.

Damages & issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery to ensure damages didnt occur on site.
If you wish to return goods, please inform us within 24 hours and we will arrange a return of your goods. The refund amount will be less delivery fees and a 20% restocking fee.

Raj Green Sandstone Coping Stones
Sandstone Coping stones have a more natural look & feel, they often have rougher surfaces and are suitable for more traditional spaces. These copings are available as either Grey Coping Stones or Raj Green Coping Stones.
Sandstone Coping Stones have been around for centuries and have been used in a variety of ways. Most commonly, they are used as a decorative element on the top of a wall or as an edging material for large raised patios. They can also be used to protect walls, create defined walkways, or even used as edgings for koi ponds for example. Sandstone is a very strong and durable material that is perfect for both indoor and outdoor use.
Sandstone coping stones come in a variety of colors, sizes, and shapes as they are a natural and varied material, each piece is truly unique. The most common colors are tan/brown and grey, which you can find as part of our Raj Green and Kandla Grey ranges respectively.
The most popular size is 60cm long, with varying widths depending on the width of the wall - there are sizes to suit almost any wall size. There are also many different textures that sandstone can have, from smooth to rough. Each piece varies which only adds to the natural charm. No matter what you are looking for, there is a sandstone coping stone to suit.
Coping Edge Types
Black Coping Stones are available in two different edge types or finishes. One is likely to be more suited to your project than the other, so take a look at the options below so you can decide for yourself.
Bullnosed Edges | Rounded
Bullnosed edges are smooth, rounded edges that are perfect for contemporary spaces. Raj Green are well suited to both modern or traditional spaces.
Coping stones with this edge type also come with pre-installed drip-grooves to ensure the underside of the coping is protected from water damage.
Hand Dressed Edges | Natural
The ultimate choice for a traditional space. The Raj Green hand dressed copings relicate Yorkstone very well and as a result are perfect for traditional spaces.
If you have used quarried bricks rather than concrete or clay bricks, if you chose a hand dressed Raj Green coping, it will round the project off perfectly.

Are Raj Green Copings Easy To Look After?
Yes they are. Raj Green is an incredibly robust and long lasting sandstone that last for years, if not decades, without any real signs of aging.
Thye can be left as they come without and real need for care and attention.
How Do I Install Wall Copings?
There are guides out there on the best way to install your coping stones. It's much the same as it would be when installing another row of bricks.
The only thing to remember is if you have bullnosed edges, make sure the drip droves on the underside of the copings overhang the wall itself.
Do You Deliver To Where I Live?
Yes! Unless you have found us from outside the UK.
We deliver to the entire UK mainland inclusive in the price you pay. Northern Ireland or delivery to surrounding islands can be arranged on an ad hoc basis.
How Will My Coping Stones Be Delivered?
Depending on quantity, orders will arrive in a pallet box. Where they are not full boxes, they will be securely strapped to the box to guarantee no breakages.
Delivery will normally be made on manual forks/pump truck and will only be guaranteed kerbside. However, if your driveway is flat and then the driver may agree to move it to your driveway. However it is not guaranteed.
If you are unsure on suitability for delivery, please give us a call in advance.
