Are the oak beams ready to install straight away?
Yes – our beams come pre-sanded and ready for installation. You can choose to leave them as they are for a raw, natural look or apply your preferred finish.
Can I use these above a wood burner or stove?
Yes – but be sure to follow building regulations and maintain the recommended clearances between your stove and the beam. If in doubt, always consult your installer or HETAS engineer.
Will I need to treat the oak beam over time?
Oak is naturally durable, but if you want to keep the colour consistent or protect it from dust and marks, applying a sealant or wax can help preserve the finish over time.
