Winning the Telegraph Small Business of the Year award in 2018 was an incredibly special moment for us. It wasn’t just an award—it was a recognition of the years of hard work, dedication, and passion we had poured into Primethorpe Paving since we first started. This was our first-ever award, and it truly validated all the efforts and challenges we faced along the way.
To see that dedication finally recognized on such a prestigious platform was a proud moment for the entire team. This award meant so much to us, not just for what it represented, but for the way it reaffirmed our commitment to excellence, customer service, and quality craftsmanship.
It was a milestone that fuelled us to keep pushing forward, and it remains a symbol of the incredible journey we've been on—and the exciting future ahead.
Peterborough Business Owners of the Year – 2019
The next time we got to dust off the suits was in 2019, when Gary and Ryan were both awarded Peterborough Business Owners of the Year. This was a special moment, not just for them, but for the entire Primethorpe family.
The award was given in recognition of their unwavering support and generosity, not only toward their own staff but also toward the local community. Gary and Ryan have always believed that a business should give back, and over the years, they’ve been involved in supporting local sports teams and charitable initiatives. Futurescape Most Influential Industry Person Under 30 – 2023
In 2023, we had the privilege of celebrating Kelsey, who was recognized as one of the Most Influential Industry Persons Under 30 at Futurescape. This prestigious award was a testament to Kelsey’s forward-thinking ideas, creative solutions, and relentless drive within the landscaping and paving industry.
Kelsey has truly been a game-changer for us at Primethorpe Paving, constantly pushing the boundaries with innovative ideas and fresh approaches. His ability to think outside the box and bring expansive new concepts to the table has been instrumental in our continued success and growth.

Pro Landscaper Supplier of the Year Nominee – 2024
One of our proudest achievements, despite not being a win, was being nominated for the Pro Landscaper Supplier of the Year award in 2024. This nomination truly meant a lot to us, as it reflected the recognition we’ve gained within the industry for the quality of our products and the exceptional service we provide to our customers.
Being named a nominee in such a competitive category was a huge honor and a testament to the dedication and hard work of our team. While we didn’t take home the award, the fact that we were even in the running is something we are incredibly proud of.
