What depths and thicknesses are available at 1200mm?

Stone bullnose steps come in 300mm or 450mm deep and are 30mm thick. Rustic dressed steps at 1200mm come in 250mm deep and are 80–100mm thick.

When would I choose 1200mm steps?

1200mm is our widest standard step and works well for main garden entrances, wide patio edges and transitions between levels. At 1200mm two people can comfortably pass side by side, making it a good choice for areas with regular foot traffic or where you want the steps to make a statement.

Do you supply matching risers?

No, we don't supply matching risers. Most customers use brick, block, or their existing walling material to build up the risers beneath each tread.

Can the steps be cut to a bespoke size?

No, we only supply steps in standard widths. If you need a specific custom dimension, we'd recommend sourcing from a local stone mason.
