Cheap paving slabs do not have to mean poor quality ones. Everything on this page is reduced because of end of line ranges, discontinued colours and surplus stock, not because there is anything wrong with the material. It is the same porcelain and natural stone at the same specification, simply the last of what we hold. Sizes in the clearance range run from 600x600 and 800x800 through 900x600, 900x900 and 1000x500 up to 1200x600, so the size most people are looking for is usually in here somewhere. The one thing to understand is that clearance lines are not restocked. When a range sells out it is gone, so work out your full quantity before ordering rather than buying in stages. Every product shows a live stock count, and it is worth adding slightly more than the usual ten percent for cuts and breakages because you will not be able to top up later. Free samples are still available on sale lines. The sale also runs across cobble setts, coping stones, wall cladding and steps, so it is often possible to do a whole scheme at clearance prices. Delivery covers the whole UK, including the Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Wight and the Isle of Man.

FAQs

What are the cheapest paving slabs to buy?

Concrete is usually the cheapest paving on the market, though it does not weather as well as stone or porcelain and tends to look dated faster. Within a natural stone and porcelain range, Indian sandstone is normally the lowest cost per square metre, followed by Indian limestone, with porcelain above both. Clearance changes that order, which is the point of this page. Discounted porcelain here often works out below the price of full price sandstone, so if you are buying to a budget it is worth checking this page before the main ranges.

What is the cheapest way to pave a patio on a budget?

Three things move the number more than the choice of slab. Pick a size that suits the area so you are not paying to cut waste, since a small patio in 1200x600 wastes a lot of slab. Lay it yourself if you are able, because labour is usually a bigger line than materials. And buy clearance stock where the range suits you, which on this page runs up to around 40 percent below the standard price for identical material. Ordering the right quantity first time matters too, because a second delivery for six square metres is disproportionately expensive.

Are cheap paving slabs any good?

Reduced is not the same as inferior, and the distinction is worth understanding before you buy anywhere. Genuinely poor paving tends to be thin, uncalibrated, badly sorted for colour, or made from stone that spalls in frost. None of that is what makes a slab cheap on a clearance page. Discontinued and end of line stock is the same product at a lower price because we would rather move it than store it.

Why are these paving slabs reduced?

End of line ranges, discontinued colours and surplus stock. Suppliers change their line-up, colours get replaced, and we end up holding the last of a batch. The paving itself is the same material at the same specification as it was at full price. It is not seconds and it is not damaged stock.
