Mixed-size patio packs work differently: they arrive as a set combination of sizes laid to a repeating pattern, which is quicker to decide on but harder to plan around if you have an awkward shape to fill or a line you want to follow.

FAQs

What does "single size" mean?

Every slab in a single size order is the same dimension. You pick the size you want, for example 900 x 600mm, and that's what turns up. It's the alternative to a mixed-size patio pack, which contains a set combination of different sizes.

What's the difference between single size slabs and a patio pack?

A patio pack contains several sizes designed to fit together in a repeating pattern, so you don't have to plan the layout yourself. Single size slabs give you one size to work with, which takes a bit more planning but lets you control exactly how the patio is set out and makes coverage easier to calculate.

How many slabs do I need?

Measure the area in square metres and divide by the coverage figure on the product page. Add extra on top for cuts, breakages and any slabs you reject on the day. Use the coverage calculator on each product page to work this out.

Can I mix two different single sizes?

Yes. Ordering two sizes from the same range and laying them in a pattern you've set out yourself is a common approach, and it gives you a mixed-size look without being tied to a fixed pack layout. Just make sure both sizes are the same thickness so the bed depth stays consistent.
