Yes, porcelain edging planks can be used as wall copings. They are durable, weather-resistant, and provide a sleek, modern finish to the top of garden walls or raised beds. However, as these planks are produced by cutting down larger tiles, there is no guarantee that there may not be minor chipping on the underside. When used as border edgings, these chips are typically hidden, but they may be visible when used as copings.

It’s also worth noting that you may see a slightly different colour on the edges compared to the surface, due to the porcelain baking process.

These edging planks start as 100cm x 50cm porcelain tiles, which are then carefully cut into strips to create the planks. During the cutting process, minor chipping may occur on the underside of the tiles. While this chipping may be visible before installation, once laid, it will be hidden beneath the edging, ensuring a clean and finished look.
