Natural Characteristics
As a natural stone, Kota Black Limestone will have variations in tone, texture, and pattern, but this is part of its authentic charm. You may notice fine white lines on the surface; these are calcite veins. They are a normal part of the stone and do not affect durability or strength.
Sawn Edge & Chipping Notice
This limestone edging features a sawn edge for a crisp, contemporary look once installed. However, due to the nature of the material and the packing and delivery process, minor chipping can occur on edges or corners. The stone is extremely hard but slightly brittle, meaning small chips are occasionally unavoidable.
Please note: We cannot offer replacements for minor chipping, as this is a natural and expected characteristic of the stone and part of its production process. As Kota Black Limestone is one of our most affordable natural stone options, we recommend ordering a little extra where possible to allow for selection during installation or to account for minor imperfections.

FAST UK DELIVERY — PRICED FAIRLY AND TRANSPARENTLY
We believe delivery should be clear, honest, and consistent. That’s why we don’t advertise “free delivery” while quietly building the cost into product prices or adding unexpected surcharges later in the checkout.
Instead, we charge delivery separately and transparently, so you can see exactly what you’re paying for, and so customers who order smaller quantities aren’t unfairly subsidising larger deliveries.
We deliver across the UK, including the Scottish Highlands & Isles, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Wight and the Isle of Man.
WHY WE DON’T OFFER “FREE DELIVERY”
There’s no such thing as truly free delivery — the cost has to be covered somewhere. Some retailers do this by:
- Increasing product prices to absorb delivery costs, or
- Adding extra charges at checkout (often based on delivery size/weight or certain postcodes)
Our approach is simple:
- Product prices stay product prices.
- Delivery is shown clearly and charged based on what it actually costs to send your order safely and on time.
DELIVERY CALCULATIONS
Delivery is calculated based on factors such as:
- Order size and weight
- The type of goods being shipped
- Delivery method (parcel, courier, pallet)
- Delivery location within the UK
You’ll always see the delivery cost clearly before you pay — simply enter your postcode at checkout and your delivery options will appear.
DISPATCH & DELIVERY TIMES
We aim to dispatch orders as quickly as possible, usually within 1–2 working days (subject to stock and order volume).
Delivery times vary depending on your location and the delivery method selected.
If your order is urgent, please contact us and we’ll do our best to help.
COLLECTION FROM OUR PETERBOROUGH DEPOT (PRIMETHORPE PAVING)

ACCESS & DELIVERY RESTRICTIONS
To ensure a smooth delivery, please check:
- Access for large vehicles (if your order ships by pallet)
- That someone is available to receive the delivery
- Any site restrictions (narrow lanes, height limits, timed access, etc.)
If you’re unsure about anything, contact us before ordering, we’re happy to advise.
