Unlike natural stone, porcelain paving slabs require minimal maintenance. They are moisture-resistant without sealant, and they don’t impact the environment as much as natural stone paving either.

How do I lay Porcelain Paving?

Porcelain paving needs to be laid on a full mortar bed using a porcelain-specific primer or slurry to help it bond properly. Unlike natural stone, porcelain doesn't absorb water, so standard methods won't work. See our porcelain paving laying guide for more information.

How do I maintain and clean Porcelain Paving?

Porcelain is one of the easiest paving materials to look after. It doesn't need sealing and won't stain easily, so a regular sweep and an occasional wash with soapy water is usually enough to keep it looking good. For tougher marks, a pressure washer on a low setting works well.
