Kota Blue Limestone – Important Product Information
When dry, Kota Blue Limestone displays blue-grey tone, which darkens to a deeper, colour when wet or sealed. To achieve and maintain this darker look, we recommend applying a colour-enhancing sealer. Standard or invisible sealers will protect the surface but will not intensify the colour in the same way.
Natural Characteristics
As a natural stone, Kota Blue Limestone will feature fine white lines known as calcite veins that may appear on the surface, these mineral lines are a natural part of the stone Occasional white patches or mineral markings may also be present, enhancing the authentic beauty of the material.
Sawn Edge & Chipping Notice
This limestone is supplied with sawn edges giving a contemporary finish once installed. During packing and transport, minor chipping can occur along the edges or corners as a result of the stone’s density and brittleness. These chips are normally located on the underside or edges and do not affect installation or appearance once laid.
Please note: Minor edge chips are considered a normal characteristic of natural limestone paving and are not eligible for replacement. We recommend ordering a small amount of extra material to allow for selection and trimming during installation.
FAST UK DELIVERY — PRICED FAIRLY AND TRANSPARENTLY
We believe delivery should be clear, honest, and consistent. That’s why we don’t advertise “free delivery” while quietly building the cost into product prices or adding unexpected surcharges later in the checkout.
Instead, we charge delivery separately and transparently, so you can see exactly what you’re paying for, and so customers who order smaller quantities aren’t unfairly subsidising larger deliveries.
We deliver across the UK, including the Scottish Highlands & Isles, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Wight and the Isle of Man.
WHY WE DON’T OFFER “FREE DELIVERY”
There’s no such thing as truly free delivery — the cost has to be covered somewhere. Some retailers do this by:
- Increasing product prices to absorb delivery costs, or
- Adding extra charges at checkout (often based on delivery size/weight or certain postcodes)
Our approach is simple:
- Product prices stay product prices.
- Delivery is shown clearly and charged based on what it actually costs to send your order safely and on time.
DELIVERY CALCULATIONS
Delivery is calculated based on factors such as:
- Order size and weight
- The type of goods being shipped
- Delivery method (parcel, courier, pallet)
- Delivery location within the UK
You’ll always see the delivery cost clearly before you pay — simply enter your postcode at checkout and your delivery options will appear.
DISPATCH & DELIVERY TIMES
We aim to dispatch orders as quickly as possible, usually within 1–2 working days (subject to stock and order volume).
